Quartzite Fantasy…

With the new stylistic choices in countertops being light grey and white stones, a multitude of quartzites are the most optimal materials to use. It should be noted that granite countertops differ largely from quartzite and contains flaws you won’t see in granite. There are many selections to choose from include: Taj Mahal, which is one of my favorites!

Sea Pearl, which features the palest of gray background accented with soft brushes of darker gray with hints of off white. This beautiful natural stone brings a sense of elegance and sophistication to any project.

Fantasy Brown, this gorgeous stone has beautiful hues of grey, white, and brown make this natural stone look like a work of art.

With White Macaubas you’re able to obtain the look of marble without its porous qualities and maintenance.

Last, but not least is Symphony, this elegant and subtle stone has a cream, beige, off white background with light veins of brown and grey. An excellent choice for use in kitchens and baths.

Where granite is an igneous rock found more abundantly than quartzite, deep in the earth’s crust, providing the base for the many continents’ sedimentary rock, quartzite consists of a larger volume of quartz than granite; under heat and pressure combined, quartzite is formed from sandstone and quartz, and with the amount of pressure undergone, empty grains of sandstone are stuffed with quartz. This means quartzite is actually harder.

Okay, admittedly, if you’re not already Houston-bound (because there’s this really huge sports event happening there this weekend) or setting up the solo cups and crock pot full of Velveeta and Rotel, at this point you’re going to have to work with what you have when it comes to creating the perfect media room for watching Super Bowl 51 today. Loving all of these ideas for things you can do at your Super Bowl party this weekend!  They are super creative and the food looks so yummy.  They’ve definitely given me some great inspiration.  Who will you be cheering for this weekend??!!

The “Fab” In Prefab

Modern prefab homes are making cutting edge design and beautiful, sustainable  living accessible to more and more homebuyers. The “prefab” in a prefab home means the home’s shell is constructed (fabricated) off-site and shipped to the home’s final location. The term prefab encompasses both panel homes and modular home. Panel homes involve shipping and placing prefabricated walls once the homes floors have been laid. Modular homes consist of several modular sections based on standardized designs. Once on location, the individual modular pieces of the home are joined together to allow for a more customized final product.

Durable Garage Flooring

We’ll start by ending some confusion about epoxy right now.  An  epoxy garage floor coating is not paint.  Paint for garage floors is a latex acrylic product. If you are ready to have your garage floor finished with an epoxy coating, then you should know that the right company will need to be hired.  A company that will make you feel good about the money your going to spend.  At Capital CoverCrete, there is no need to sacrifice quality and strength for convenience. Their best selling floor coatings are installed and ready for foot traffic the same day, then warrantied for a lifetime.

Benefits of Panelized Homes

Builders and homebuyers today recognize that building a new home “stick by stick” is often not the most efficient building method. The most frequently used systems-built technology today is the panelized building system. A Panelized Building Systems is a form of construction in which all components of a house are prefabricated at their climate-controlled factory, using quality materials and then transported to the building site for construction. In most instances of Panelized Homes the weather-tight shell can be assembled in a matter of days.
